Life in Stumptown

Blogging is beginning to sound like an appealing idea. I’m not sure how long this will last. Quarterlife might be the first inspiration — a show about twentysomethings caught in between college and family life, in a technologically over-powered generation that is determined to leave its mark on the world be it through activism or art. The second inspiration is my sister-in-law’s friend, who I met this past weekend at home. She and her family just moved to Cincinnati from Huntsville, Alabama. She is the first of her family to move away and she has been successful at blogging everyday since the move to keep in touch. It makes a lot of sense, really. Especially since the plan right now is to move away myself. So, I guess I’ll try to get in the habit of posting, let you guys know I’m doing it, and then hopefully keep it up if I ever get out of Ohio
